TR SNIPPET Gambler's Book Store

I stopped at the Gambler's Bookstore on Main Street and bought some playing cards for our home game. It is hard to find used Casino cards without black on the edges that usually compromises at least one card. The girl opened some of them for me and many here were clean of the markings. I thought if one was clear, the others were also, but that was incorrect. I need to have every deck opened and examined. I bought a few decks that I can't use.

I bought a dozen and they dropped the price to $1.25 each. Then I added some cards with pretty girls on them that were on a closeout sale and used those to splash the pot in the local game.

Also I bought a couple dollars in odd closed out chips that I can use to make card protectors, even some chips with walleyes on them. I added in a few cut cards for both sizes of decks. Nice to have those for the local games.

I looked around the store. Very nice spot. Plenty of deals and things are priced reasonably.

I saw one set of chips with bare breasted women on them and thought Newman would enjoy them. But I had no way of getting them home with me, and some chips I've bought on sale do not stack well.
