CLOTHING
AND DRESS
The
best clothing choice I made for this trip was cargo pants that allow
me to carry everything I want with no little bag. I am thrilled with
mine. That is all I brought this trip.
Add
to that a shirt with two pockets like these light shirts I bought in
Florida and I am easily comfortable about two sets of glasses, a book
for notes, assorted cards, poker card protectors, my bib, room keys,
phone, wallet.
I
also appreciate my polarized sun glasses. I use them when walking or
swimming the lazy river. Those and a good cap keep me from squinting
into the sun.
I
was a good bit underdressed for the Kelly Holmes show at the Italian
Social Club, but I guess they tolerated me anyway. I just can't
seem to find room in my suitcase for dressup clothes. In the tourist
mainstream of Vegas it doesn't matter, but in the Italian Social Club
it did.
I'm
still working on the right shoes. New Balance is all I wear, but my
feet best like the simple white sneakers and even one of those did
not seem to keep me from blistering. Perhaps I need to work on socks
or bring my hiking boots. A couple years ago I realized the value of
a light pair of open toed shower shoes that can be worn when just
going to gamble in the home casino. That rests injured toes.
