Orleans to Airport Alternatives

How to get from the airport to the Orleans is a hotly debated topic. I always take the Las Vegas Limo Shuttle which is not directly outside the baggage claim area but just around the corner. I think they are faster to fill and they are 50 cents cheaper. But then I am alone and never in a hurry.
The 5-6$ shuttles sometimes take a half hour to fill and if you are two or more, you probably don't save enough over a cab. My last cab ride was $15 with tip. Top estimate would be $20.

But sometimes there is a long wait for a cab.

And now comes the real question. Do you tell the Cabby to "go right over Tropicana" or to "go through the tunnel" and take the expressway. If you tell the cabby nothing, he will probably know the longest way.

Well, here that question is debated:

Still unsure?
