Booking at Orleans or Coast

*************************************************************************************

Staying at the Orleans makes it easy for family and friends to find us, stay with us, run into us for a nice oatmeal breakfast at the cafe. Most people chose it because it was the cheapest, but I'm glad to be in one spot.

Gold Coast Remodeled Rooms complete with new bed lines and 32 inch flat screen televisions. The Gold Coast is another nice option and sometimes cheaper. These casinos are connected to each other and to the strip by free shuttle. The rooms are nice. The Orleans rooms were traditionally nicer; however, the Gold Coast is bragging about its new linens and nice, new big flat screen television screens as seen in the photo. The Gold Coast has a nice swing jazz band every afternoon. The Orleans is just a bit bigger with a theater complex, bowling alley, nice spa and workout room, music in the evening in two locations, and free marti gra beads.

To see details on these hotels click below for a funny but very informative review from Casino Boy and on that review first page (in the center) you can click to get the official website too.

*****IMPORTANT: DO NOT BOOK YET WITH A DISCOUNTER !!******

Just use them as a price guide. For example, if I find a better price anytime before I go to the Gold Coast or the Orleans, I can just call and the casino will honor that better price. If I had booked at i4Vegas, I would be stuck there and have to pay a fee to change to decide between Gold Coast and Orleans at the last minute. It is also much easier to book with the hotel. There you can check you dates easily and reconfirm. No middle man.

If you prefer to stay on the strip during this time, the Barbary Coast looked about as reasonable as the Orleans and the booking procedure is the same, using the i4Vegas numbers, but check with me as some other discounters might be cheaper by the time you book.
