I hadn't thought about this stuff much, but as someone that travels a lot, it's good information, thanks for all the thoughts and resources, not sure what to do about it, but it's got me thinking.
Did you do a trip report on your April trip?
This is NMchop from blonde's board.
Thanks for a great post and for all the good information in it.
I encountered bed bugs at Golden Nugget in March of 2008 and the manager was awesome. He moved us to a better room and bought us dinner. We were very pleased in how well they handled it.
I encountered bed bugs at South Point in November of 2009 and they were horrible about it. They didn't want to move us, they didn't believe me that we had found a live bug in our room. We ended up checking out 2 days early and moving to another hotel. We had to fight with them to get a refund for the 2 nights we didn't stay. They wanted to charge us anyway because they said we didn't have a good reason for checking out. It was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard.
Thanks for sharing those encounters. It is interesting that these are high end casinos too.
They can appear anywhere.
I'm going in November and hope to have no problems.
Did I mention that trip report information on my April trip is in this blog. I divide up the experience into information on hotels or poker or hotels.
My experience with finding a blood trail at Flamingo is in the hotel section.
Just skim the blog for things called TR snippets and those will hold the info.
