Without Halloween, my per night expenses would have dropped to $17 a night even with the Excalibur paid bookings. Even if Four Queens had given me Halloween weekend for free, I would not want to arrive tired and expect to sleep with all that downtown hoopla at the Four Queens. I did not even escape it in the Tower rooms of the El Cortez.
