There are good bargain movie days at some casinos in LV - Stations (Boulder ST) and Boyd (Orleans/Sam's Town). Their casino websites have links to the bargain days, usually midweek like Tues or Thurs. Of course, Sr ('young at heart') Weds at Boyd properties are always $4 for age 50+, with the kiosk ticket you have to print out; the only thing I don't like about it is you must see a show starting by 4pm; Usually I'm playing at the machines for the multiplier bonus (can be as low as 4x/5x on vp, but I have had a few 10x/15x vp, and I even had the largest 30x vp/ 50x slots once!). I have been very lucky to win 2 of the Young at Heart dwgs, as an Out-of-towner! I very much like the new format, 21 winners, 1st one drawn $500 (I won that - believe it or not!) at ST - my luck in dwgs for Wed seems better there. I also won at ST as the 5th drawn, when only 5 winners were selected, but got stuck with the lowest prize (still a nice $250). i'm not sure, but I think orleans and gc just tend to have more YAH (50+) gamblers? - or it's closer to where locals play vs ST out on Boulder Hwy..thanks for your TR snippets - I luv them! Martin from San Diego PS - I know I have played poker with you a few times at the old EW poker room, and maybe at the Belle in Laughlin. I hope to see you again sometime...
