I had heard these rooms were nice, but I did not expect to be as comfortable as I was there. I was first in 503 and it is a fine room, but I moved to 502 after Wild Bill left that room, and it was much quieter.

It now costs an extra $25 a night for bookings over 7 nights in a calendar month booked at the El Cortez.
And what do you get for that fee?
Well, on your 8th night you get just what you got on your 7th night, only it costs you an extra $25.

So if you take the free shuttle downtown or to the strip and overstay, you can get back on that bus. It picks up right on the Flamingoside of Bally's.

JUST THE FOOD
Well, my "eat only when it is free" diet did not work this trip, but at least I only gained 5 pounds back of the 25 I put on while training for Vegas buffes.I just had too much free food.At the end I had $25 of food comps and a $25 restaurant.com coupon to eat up at the El Cortez.
I had been eating out so much on this long trip, Chicago, Denver and that did not help either.

My new game this trip was Deuces Wild.  I spent a good part of my winter working on the Dancer's tutor and improving my game. One interesting fellow I met at the Sam's Town poker tournament lived in Colorado, but traveled to Del Rio, Texas to fish.  He told me all about the place and how I might go there and visit the coffee shop in the morning and perhaps connect with a fisherman who would take me fishing for the price of gasoline. I think the key to the Four Queens is staying in the South Tower and asking for a room away from the Freemont Experience noise.
I have been comfortable doing that, but I can't speak for the rooms on the North Tower.
